Uzbekistan to Repatriate Bodies of Three Citizens Killed in Kazakhstan Explosion
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Migration Agency of Uzbekistan has responded to the tragedy that occurred on 11 September at the LGN Metal facility in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan, where three Uzbek citizens were killed in an explosion.
The agency reported that all necessary procedures have been arranged to return the bodies to Uzbekistan.
Responsible officers from the territorial divisions of the Migration Agency have been assigned to the families of the deceased to provide practical assistance and support.
Continuous coordination with the Kazakh authorities is being maintained as part of the ongoing investigation. The Migration Agency expressed its deepest condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the victims.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Ili District police under the article on violations of labor safety regulations resulting in fatalities, and investigative actions are underway.
