Uzbekistan to publish indicators of production and sales of gold

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will end secrecy on indicators of produced and sold gold.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On measures to further improve the activities of enterprises in the mining and metallurgical industry” on 17 January.

According to the document, measures to remove the secrecy regime from the indicators of produced and sold gold volumes will be taken within a month.

The head of Uzbekistan instructed to optimize the full-time number of employees of regime-secret divisions of large mining and metallurgical enterprises.
