Uzbekistan to play friendly with Azerbaijan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan national football team will pay a friendly match against Azerbaijan in Baku on 20 August 2014, the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.
The match against Azerbaijan is part of preparation of Uzbekistan to the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, which will be held in January 2015 in Austria.
Before the match against Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan will hold two friendly matches against Oman on 27 and 29 May 2014. The matches will be held in Tashkent.
Uzbekistan is in Group B along with China, Saudi Arabia and North Korea in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.
