Uzbekistan to play friendly match with Ukraine

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan national team will play a friendly match against Ukraine, co-host of Euro-2012, on 1 June 2011. Uzbekistan Football Federation and Ukrainian Football Federation reached agreement over the match.

Uzbekistan Football Federation said that the friendly match will be held in Kiev.

Uzbekistan coach Vadim Abramov said that Ukraine has its place in European football and it is useful fot his team to play against such strong side.

The upcoming match will be the second between the sides. In 2007, Uzbekistan led by Rauf Inileev lost to Ukraine with the score 1-2 in away match.
