Uzbekistan to open credit line for US$100m to Kyrgyzstan

The loan agreement between the countries was signed during the visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov to Uzbekistan (on 13-14 December 2017).

The credit line will be opened to Kyrgyz financial and credit organizations. The funds will be used to finance export of goods and services from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan.

As part of the agreement, Uzpromstroybank was identified as one of the three leading banks, which will finance exports of Uzbek goods to Kyrgyzstan.
