Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First day of Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) was announced as will be marked widely as holiday in the country. The first day of Eid al-Adha falls to 31 July.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev signed a resolution “On celebrating Kurban-hait (Eid al-Adha)”.
The resolution said taking into consideration the proposal of the Muslims’ Board of Uzbekistan, the first day of Eid al-Adha, 31 July, will be marked as a holiday in Uzbekistan.
