Uzbekistan to Increase Salaries for Technical College Instructors Teaching International Programs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The government of Uzbekistan has approved measures to raise salaries for staff at technical colleges implementing international educational programs.

Under the decree, instructors and specialists at these colleges will receive a monthly bonus equal to 100% of their base salary, funded by the state budget. These payments are provided in addition to standard salary rates and are taken into account when forming staffing schedules and the annual budget of educational institutions.

Permanent working groups will also be established within the colleges to determine incentive payments for instructors and specialists involved in industrial training as part of international programs. Decisions within these groups will be made by majority vote through an open voting process.

The measures aim to enhance motivation among teaching staff and promote the adoption of international educational standards in Uzbekistan’s technical colleges.
