Uzbekistan to increase production of energy saving lamps

The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures on expansion of local production of energy saving lamps”, which envisages growth of production of energy saving lamps.

According to the resolution, enterprises of Uzbekistan will expand production of energy saving LED and fluorescent lamps.

In particular, enterprises of Uzeltekhsanoat – VestaElectric and PlasticModernity – will expand production of energy saving lamps from 6.4 million units in 2014 to 13 million in 2019.

EGL NUR in SIZ Angren and Yorqin Chiroqlar in SIZ Jizzakh will increase production of lamps from 0.222 million units in 2015 to 2.2 million units in 2019.
