Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– In order to prepare for a worthy celebration of the nationwide holiday “Navruz”, to increase mutual generosity and solidarity, to improve and green the mahallas and settlements, the Government issued an order.

According to the order, on 14-15 March 2020, the nationwide charity hashar of beautification and landscaping "Obod Yurt" will be held throughout the country.

In connection with the hashar, it is recommended to transfer voluntary funds from employees of ministries, departments and other organizations on their own initiative to the bank accounts of the Mahalla charitable public foundation of Uzbekistan.

The funds received from the charity hashar are supposed to be used to provide material and spiritual assistance to the poor, families who have lost the breadwinner, elderly people who need social protection, people with disabilities, single elderly people, and pensioners.
