Uzbekistan to Host Tajikistan Culture and Film Days

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 23 to 29 March, Tashkent and Samarkand will host the “Tajikistan Culture and Film Days,” dedicated to strengthening cultural ties and fostering exchange between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

The program will feature multi-generational meetings and “Navruzi Olam” roundtables, where writers, poets, artists, and intellectuals will discuss literary and cultural heritage, as well as prospects for bilateral cooperation.

The Tajik film program includes screenings of feature films such as Fish on the Hook, In Search of Truth, Life is Beautiful, and Jura Sargor.

Additionally, a gala concert titled “Evening of Friendship” will feature performances by Uzbek and Tajik artists, alongside showcases from Tajik creative ensembles, visual art exhibitions, and theatrical performances.

The events aim to highlight the rich cultural heritage of both nations and strengthen friendship between their peoples.
