Uzbekistan to hold International Fruits and Vegetables Fair

The President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On measures on improving system of procurement and use of fruits, vegetables, potatoes and melons” on 12 April 2016.

The document underlines that International Fruits and Vegetables Fair for signing contracts of exports for fresh and processed fruits and vegetables will be held in Tashkent in June.

According to the resolution, International Fruits and Vegetables Fair will serve as platform for organization of signing of direct export contracts. It will attract foreign companies. The fair will be organized each year in October.
