Uzbekistan to Face Iran in AFC Futsal Asian Cup Quarterfinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s national futsal team has learned its opponent for the quarterfinals of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup, which is being held in Indonesia.

Having finished second in their group with four points, the Uzbekistan team will take to the court against Iran on 3 February. The Iranian side topped Group D, completing the group stage with eight points.

The other quarterfinal pairings have also been determined. Iraq will face Thailand, Japan will play Afghanistan, while tournament hosts Indonesia will take on Vietnam.

All quarterfinal matches of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup are scheduled to be played on 3 February.
