Uzbekistan to export almonds to Malaysia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A partner of Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdullah Yusuf Al Kadhi, owner of a large commercial and industrial company Baraka Istithmar, paid a visit to Uzbekistan.
This is the second visit of a foreign importer, organized with the active assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Malaysia. As is known, during his first visit, real results were achieved on the realization of the export of dried fruits from Khorezm region to Malaysia.
It should be noted that domestic products that have entered the market of Southeast Asia have been in high demand due to their taste and ecological qualities.
During the current visit, Abdullah Yusuf Al Kadhi, who showed even greater interest in expanding the export of Uzbek goods, organized his trip to Namangan region, where he met with the first deputy khokim of the region A. Kamalov, heads of a number of farms-producers of export-oriented agricultural products, and also specialists processing enterprises.
The result of business negotiations was the conclusion of an export contract totaling US$2 million for the supply of Uzbek almonds in the Malaysian retail network under the brand Baraka Istithmar.
