Uzbekistan to Establish Fund for Construction and Renovation of Social Institutions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has signed a decree “On Measures to Ensure the Sustainable Development of the Education, Healthcare, and Sports Systems.”

The decree provides for the creation of a Fund for the Construction and Renovation of Social Institutions.

The new fund will allocate resources for the construction, reconstruction, and major repairs of general education schools, medical facilities, and sports institutions.

In addition, funding will support the strengthening of the material and technical base of these organizations, equipping them with modern devices, educational and medical instruments, and information and communication technology tools.

The fund will also ensure the implementation of construction and renovation projects in other social sectors, contributing to the development of the country’s social infrastructure.
