Uzbekistan to direct US$3.63bn to realize state programme “The Year of Well-being and Prosperity”

Speaking at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 21st anniversary of Constitution of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov underlined that some 6.93 trillion soums (US$3.158 billion at the rate of the Central Bank) and US$471 million will be directed to the state programme “The Year of Well-being and Prosperity”, which shows its grandiose scale.

Uzbekistan announced 2013 as the Year of Well-being and Prosperity. Uzbek leader signed the state programme “the Year of Well-being and Prosperity”, which is implemented in Uzbekistan this year.

On 6 December, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov announced 2014 as the Year of healthy children in Uzbekistan.
