Uzbekistan to direct 4.3 trln. soums to healthcare development in 2014

The ministry said that about 2.8 trillion soums from the state budget were directed to healthcare development and the figure reached 3.4 trillion soums. This year, it is planned to direct 4.3 trillion soums to further improvement of healthcare system.

The volume of investments to healthcare rose 3.8 times in 2013 compared to 2010. In the result, over 295 medical objects were reconstructed and commissioned.

The level of equipment of Uzbek specialized medical centers rose 1.8 times and reached 91.7%. The level of equipment with high technological equipment reached 82.6%.
