Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A resolution of the President “On measures to further improve the heat supply system of the city of Tashkent” was adopted on 2 December 2019.

The project approved the Plan of additional measures for the development of the heat supply system of the city of Tashkent in 2019–2021.

According to the Plan, a Strategy for the integrated development and full-scale modernization of the heating system in Tashkent will be developed.

The responsibility of khokims of the districts of the city of Tashkent for ensuring uninterrupted supply of consumers with thermal energy and hot water has been established.

In accordance with the resolution, from 1 January 2021, pipes with polymer thermal insulation, including polyurethane foam, and a protective sheath, which will allow for channel-free installation, will be used without fail when reconstructing heat pipes.
