Uzbekistan to Deliver Traffic Violation Fines via Electronic Notifications

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Vehicle owners in Uzbekistan will now receive notifications of traffic violations electronically, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.

Copies of the rulings and associated materials will be sent through the government services portal my.gov.uz, as well as via several mobile applications.

Previously, the postal delivery of traffic violation protocols was suspended starting March 1 due to the absence of an agreement with the State Institution under the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the development of the “Safe City” systems.

Notifications will initially be sent in a test mode through the my.gov.uz portal (via the MyGov mobile app), and also through the SafeRoad, Road24, Unified Interactive Public Services portal (BPI), and Hamroh applications.

Once a ruling is issued from number 6079, citizens will receive an SMS notification. If the notification is not received, vehicle owners must register their phone number on my.gov.uz, after which all notifications will be delivered automatically.

The use of digital services is unrestricted in time, and no additional registration or submission of documents is required.

Through the applications, users can immediately review case materials and pay fines within the established deadlines.

The ministry emphasized that the implementation of electronic delivery of rulings is part of the “Safe City” concept and the broader digitalization of public safety processes, including reducing the impact of human error in issuing fines.
