Uzbekistan to create printing house to publish Braille books

Uzbekistan plans to create a printing house to publish books in Braille writing system at the financial support of the Government of China.
Uzbekistan and China preliminary agreed and discuss a project on expansion of access of people with vision problems to receive access to education. China will provide a grant for US$454,000 to project implementation.
Within the project, it is planned to create printing house, equipped with modern equipment, to publish books, magazines, manuals, relief and geography images on Braille writing system.
It is also planned to publish educational books on natural sciences on Braille writing system for specialized boarding schools.
