Uzbekistan to build 945 multi-story houses in 2017-2020

Uzbekistan is planning to build 945 multi-story houses in the urbans in 2017-2020, Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev stated at the Eighth Session of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan.
He said that a programme on construction of 945 multi-storey houses in urban areas of Uzbekistan for 2017-2020 is developed now.
He said that 5, 7 and 9 story houses will be constructed in Tashkent, centers and large cities of Karakalpakstan and regions of Uzbekistan for 50,000 families, who need habitation.
Mirziyayev said that about 15,000 new houses based on modern standard projects will be constructed in rural areas in 2017.
Interim President also said that currently a project on construction of 500 multi-story houses in Sergeli district of Tashkent is developed. He said that the project will help to provide habitation to over 30,000 families.
