Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 July, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company Shanghai LinkWise Data Intelligence Co., Ltd.

The parties discussed ongoing projects being implemented by Chinese companies in Uzbekistan’s energy sector, as well as prospects for further cooperation in this field.

Following the talks, a memorandum was signed with Shanghai LinkWise Data Intelligence Co., Ltd. to implement a project for the construction of a 300-megawatt data center in the Bukhara region.

A similar facility is also planned for development in the Surkhandarya region in the future.

During the negotiations, the sides agreed to accelerate all necessary work to ensure the timely and effective launch of the project, in line with the provisions of the signed memorandum.
