Uzbekistan to appoint foreign coach to women’s team

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is planning to appoint foreign specialists as head coach of Uzbekistan Women’s U-20, leading specialist of Association of Women Football, Women mini-football and beach football of Uzbekistan Alisher Fayziev said.

Fayziev underlined that the association is holding negotiations with several specialists from countries, which occupy leading positions in women’s football. After appointment of coach, it is planned to develop preparation plans to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2012.

The association said that Uzbekistan Football Federation President Mirabror Usmanov will hold a meeting on 13 May to discuss preparation to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2012.
