The World Giving Index (WGI) was compiled by the Charities Aid Foundation, using data gathered by Gallup, and ranks 134 countries in the world according to how charitable their populations are.
Uzbekistan moved from 50th place in 2013 to 28th place in 2014 in the World Giving Index (WGI). At the same time, Uzbekistan took the fourth place on number of people engaged in charity (46% people).
Myanmar and the Unites States topped the index. Canada, Ireland, New Zealand were third, fourth and fifth respectively. Yemen was on the last place in the index.
