Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 December 2019, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted Uzbekistan – Tajikistan inter-MFA consultations on information support of foreign policy and working with the media.

The Tajik side was represented by a delegation led by the head of the Information, Press, Analysis and Foreign Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Vafo Niyatbekzoda.

The parties exchanged experience on the issues of information support of foreign policy, accreditation of foreign media, working with public opinion and the media, organization of media events.

Proposals for development of cooperation between the information services of foreign economic departments of the two countries were also considered.
