Uzbekistan–Syria Business Forum and B2B Meetings Held in Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 February, the Uzbekistan–Syria Business Forum accompanied by a series of B2B meetings was held in Bukhara. The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan as part of a visit by a delegation from the Syrian Arab Republic.

The forum brought together more than 200 representatives of the business communities of both countries, including officials from relevant ministries and agencies, chambers of commerce, and sectoral associations.

During the discussions, the parties focused on the development of regional cooperation, noting that such interaction creates opportunities for prompt support of business initiatives and the effective implementation of investment projects at the local level.

Particular attention was paid to establishing regular business engagement, expanding B2B contacts, exchanging business missions, and jointly developing cooperation projects.

The B2B meetings enabled companies to discuss specific areas of mutual cooperation and identify promising avenues for joint activities.

As a result of the forum, agreements and contracts were signed aimed at strengthening trade and economic ties and implementing joint projects.

Among the signed documents was a memorandum of understanding between the territorial administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Bukhara Region and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city of Tartus.
