Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By a decision of a special commission, domestic air and rail transportation has been suspended in Uzbekistan from 13 July. The press secretary of the Ministry of Transport Navruz Ashurmatov said this at a briefing on Friday.
From Monday, 13 July, Uzbekistan stops air and rail transportation on domestic routes. Money for train tickets will be fully refunded, tickets will remain valid for a year.
From 10 July, the movement of buses between regions is also limited, only bus flights are allowed to transport citizens from border points to quarantine zones.
As noted by Navruz Ashurmatov, with the strengthening of quarantine and restriction of railway communication, all money for purchased tickets will be fully returned to passengers.
The Toshshahartranskhizmat will accept monthly travel cards and tokens purchased by passengers in July from 1 to 10 August, and funds for unused days will be returned.
