Uzbekistan Strengthens Ties with Italian Agri-Companies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the international forum “Italy – Central Asia (C5) + Azerbaijan,” Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Agriculture, held a series of meetings with representatives of leading Italian agricultural companies.

The discussions focused on prospects for research collaboration, the introduction of advanced agricultural technologies and digitalization, as well as expanding the production of high-value-added products.

The parties exchanged views on technology transfer, practical implementation of innovative solutions, use of modern equipment, increasing export potential, and carrying out joint projects.

Additionally, Italian partners were presented with information on favorable investment conditions in Uzbekistan, existing opportunities, and government support measures.
