Uzbekistan strengthens the ideological and spiritual content of national holidays

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has approved a new concept aimed at enhancing the ideological and spiritual significance of state and nationwide holidays. The document was ratified by government resolution No. 824 on 24 December 2025.

According to the concept, more than 50 nationwide and professional holidays, commemorative dates, and international observances are celebrated at various levels in the country. Authorities intend to systematically develop their cultural and spiritual content.

For each holiday, individual musical attributes and unique melodies will be created, along with visual and artistic elements that reflect the holiday’s meaning and historical significance.

The concept also envisions the creation and wide distribution of methodological guides explaining the ideological and spiritual essence of the holidays, their origins, and their role in the development of society.

Furthermore, interactive programs are planned as part of holiday events, including the show “The Most Talented Youth,” aimed at popularizing the achievements of young people and motivating them toward new accomplishments.

Publications dedicated to holiday dates are also planned, including the book Holidays of Uzbekistan, which will systematize information about the main celebrations and their significance for the country.
