Uzbekistan, South Korea discuss expanding trade-economic ties

At the meeting, the sides discussed perspectives of further expanding bilateral trade-economic, investment and financial-technical cooperation, the press service of the MFERIT said.

Special attention was paid to implementation of new projects on creation of high technological production capacities in Uzbekistan with participation of leading South Korean companies.

The sides considered issues of organization of upcoming joint events, including Forum on perspectives of the Uzbek-Korean cooperation, which will be held in Tashkent on 30 April. It is organized within the visit of the delegation led by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea Yoon Sang-jick.
