Uzbekistan, South Korea discuss cooperation in development of textile sector

During the meeting, the foreign side was presented detailed information on the benefits and preferences created for foreign investors, particularly in the textile sector, and created free economic zones in Uzbekistan, the MFERIT said.

In addition, there were discussed topical issues of further trade-economic and investment cooperation in the sphere of textile industry, in particular the further creation of necessary conditions for export of textile products in a market abroad.

Following the meeting, agreement was reached on the provision of practical assistance to the Korean side together with JSC "Uzbekengilsanoat" for the preparation of the analysis on the development of the textile industry of Uzbekistan.
