Uzbekistan, South Korea businesses hold B2B talks
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 September 2019, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a cooperation exchange in the B2B format with business circles of Uzbekistan and Korea.
The goal was to discuss issues of further expanding cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, transport, communication and information technology spheres.
The Korean delegation included the heads of 50 leading companies in the construction, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, tourism, ICT, and marketing sectors.
The head of the delegation emphasized that the Korean side considers Uzbekistan as a key partner in the region and is interested in further expanding fruitful cooperation. Particularly noted are the impressive rates of economic growth in Uzbekistan, which lay a good foundation for the development of business contacts.
The main objectives of the visit of the delegation of Korean business circles are the joint consideration of potential opportunities and the identification of specific promising areas of trade and economic cooperation.
Between the business circles of the two countries in the B2B format, over 100 business entities of our country took part.
The main topics of the negotiations were the development of transport and logistics cooperation, projects in the field of chemical industry, information technology and several other areas.
The prospects for further development of the Uzbek-Korean trade and economic cooperation were discussed, including an exchange of views on enhancing partnerships between enterprises of Uzbekistan and Korea.
As part of the event, agreements and memoranda were signed between Uzbek and Korean companies.
