Uzbekistan slips to the sixth place in the world in terms of fresh apricot exports

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan ranked sixth in the world in terms of fresh apricot exports in 2017. Previously, the country ranked second in the world.

Analysts of EastFruit noted that Uzbekistan reduced apricot exports in 2017 from 50,000 tonnes to 23,000 tonnes.

Spain, Turkey, France, Italy and Greece are ahead of Uzbekistan on the volume of exported apricots in 2017.

In 2016, Uzbekistan ranked second in the world in terms of fresh apricot exports after Spain.
