Uzbekistan slips to 57th place in FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- FIFA, a global football governing body, published new ranking of national teams on Thursday, 14 February 2013.

In new FIFA ranking, Uzbekistan lost one position and now holds the 57th place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the fourth best team in Asia. Japan (28), Australia (37) and South Korea (38) are above Uzbekistan in new ranking.

Among the CIS states, Uzbekistan holds the third place after Russia (10) and Ukraine (46) in new FIFA ranking.

Spain tops the ranking, while Germany is on the second place. Argentina holds the third place in FIFA ranking.
