Uzbekistan simplifies visa regime for Czech citizens

The Embassy said that the Czech citizens can receive entry visas to Uzbekistan within two working days from 6 March 2014. The day of document submission will not be taken into account, the diplomatic mission said.

Czech citizens, applying to business or tourism visas, will be required to submit invitation from residents of Uzbekistan, approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, or voucher of tourism agency.

The Czech Embassy said that the Czech citizens should declare business or tourism goal of the visit in visa application. The visa will be opened for one or several visits for one duty.

According to the Czech mission, the business visas are issued for up to one year and tourism visa – 1 month. But, the visitors should stay in hotels and registered in line with the set rules. If the private person invites the Czech citizens to Uzbekistan, the invitation of the person from Uzbekistan will be required.
