The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on 27 February to improve order of notarial approval of deals with the real estate with the use of inter-departmental electronic interaction.
The Notarius automated information system was created to speed up process of the notarial approval of the deals with the real estate. The new system will come into force in Tashkent on 1 July 2017 and other regions of Uzbekistan on 1 July 2018.
Currently, the citizen should apply to 11 departments and collect 17 documents via providing 52 documents to them. After introduction of new system, the citizen should apply to notary office, providing personal cadaster number and passport data.
The citizen can apply via Single interactive state services portal (www.my.gov.uz) or personally to notary office.
Within 3-5 days, the notary will check the debts and rights of the person to the property. The notary will send requests to the state bodies. Overall, the process will take five working days.
