Uzbekistan Showcases Tourism Potential at Roadshow in Singapore

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan held a roadshow in Singapore aimed at promoting the country’s rich and diverse tourism potential on the international stage.

The event was organized by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in partnership with Uzbekistan Airways.

About 30 representatives from Uzbekistan’s tourism and service sectors participated in B2B meetings with over 70 leading travel and service companies from Singapore.

During the discussions, participants received detailed presentations on Uzbekistan’s cultural and historical heritage, ziyarat tourism, gastronomic, eco, and mountain tourism. Special emphasis was placed on the “Umra Plus” project, designed to create a comfortable and safe environment for foreign tourists.

Uzbek representatives highlighted measures taken to ensure traveler safety, develop tourism infrastructure, implement digital services, and improve service quality in accordance with international standards. Experts praised the “Umra Plus” project for strengthening the attractiveness and competitiveness of Uzbekistan’s tourism sector.

Additionally, the roadshow showcased modern facilities and infrastructure developed under the mountain tourism program, as well as new tourist routes. Participants discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, developing joint tourism packages, increasing tourist flows, and attracting investment to the sector.

The roadshow marked an important step in reinforcing Uzbekistan’s presence in the international tourism market, enhancing collaboration with Singapore in tourism, and opening new investment and business opportunities.
