Uzbekistan Showcases Products at 8th China International Import Expo
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 November 2025, the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened in Shanghai, China, with a delegation from Uzbekistan led by Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Ilzat Kasymov.
The delegation included entrepreneurs as well as representatives from relevant ministries and government agencies.
At Uzbekistan’s national pavilion, around 200 types of products from domestic enterprises in the mining, agriculture, textile, silk, leather and footwear, and chemical industries were displayed, all actively exported to the Chinese market.
The exhibition highlights the country’s industrial and export potential, reflecting Uzbekistan’s strategic course to expand foreign economic relations and strengthen cooperation with China.
During the expo, themed forums, panel sessions, conferences, and meetings with representatives of leading Chinese companies are scheduled. These events aim to foster partnerships, exchange expertise, and attract investment in priority sectors, further strengthening business ties between Uzbekistan and China.
