Uzbekistan Showcases Key Tourist Destinations in China

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the “Year of Uzbekistan Tourism in China,” a roadshow was held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, to present Uzbekistan’s tourism and investment potential.

The event brought together more than 130 representatives of Chinese government agencies, tour operators, and investment companies.

Participants were introduced to the country’s rich cultural and historical heritage, modern tourist routes, and promising projects in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Special attention was given to the investment and tourism opportunities of Uzbekistan’s regions.

Projects from Samarkand and Tashkent regions were highlighted, including the Charvak tourist and recreation zone and the Arda Khiva tourist complex, along with plans for tourism development in Khorezm and Kashkadarya regions.

Following the roadshow, several cooperation agreements were signed between tourism companies and organizations of the two countries, marking an important step in strengthening bilateral ties and attracting investment into Uzbekistan’s tourism industry.
