Uzbekistan showcases its priorities at UNIDO Global Industrial Summit in Riyadh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 22 to 24 November 2025, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Shokhrukh Gulamov took part in the 21st session of the UNIDO General Conference, held in Riyadh.

During the visit, the Uzbek side held a series of bilateral meetings with UNIDO Deputy Director General Ciyong Zou; ACWA Power Chairman Mohammad Abunayyan; the leadership of Albawani; representatives of the Riyadh Second Health Cluster and King Fahad Medical City; as well as the president of Lamar Holding.

The discussions focused on opportunities to expand cooperation in energy, infrastructure, and healthcare, as well as the creation of joint industrial enterprises.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue developing joint projects at the level of the relevant ministries and companies of the two countries.
