Uzbekistan Showcases Agricultural Potential at “INNOPROM. Belarus” Exhibition
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 29 September to 1 October, the international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM. Belarus” is taking place in Minsk, where the national pavilion “Made in Uzbekistan” has become one of the highlights. The exposition attracted visitors with a wide range of products and a vibrant design.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan presented a dedicated stand featuring agricultural products. Guests were introduced to fresh fruits and vegetables — pomegranates, grapes, persimmons, melons, and watermelons — as well as dried and freeze-dried goods, processed products, and achievements in winemaking.
At the opening ceremony, the pavilion was visited by the Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. The high-ranking guests sampled Uzbek products, praised their quality and naturalness, and were briefed on ongoing agricultural reforms in the country.
The exhibition, held at the BELEXPO center across 20,000 sq. m, features over 510 companies from CIS countries and beyond.
Within the Uzbek pavilion, business negotiations led to contracts worth nearly USD 3 million. Companies Shato Sogdiana, Hamkor Group, and Sulton Sharob signed agreements with Belarusian firms FruitReal, BelExport, and Minsk Sparkling Wine Factory, as well as with Russian partners Rusagromarket and SolomonFood, covering supplies of dried fruits, vegetables, and winemaking raw materials.
The signed agreements open new opportunities to expand exports of Uzbek agricultural products, support their promotion in international markets, and further strengthen their reputation as high-quality goods that meet global standards.
