Uzbekistan Senate Strengthens Cooperation with Germany
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Uzbekistan, Sodiq Safoev, held a meeting with a delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany, led by State Minister for European Affairs at the German Foreign Ministry, Günter Krichbaum.
Both sides highlighted the high level of Uzbek-German relations, built on principles of mutual trust and strategic partnership. The importance of active political dialogue at the highest level was emphasized, supporting the dynamic development of bilateral cooperation.
During the discussion, the parties explored prospects for further deepening interparliamentary contacts, including enhancing the work of specialized committees, cooperation groups, and organizing reciprocal visits.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on expanding trade, economic, and investment ties, as well as collaboration in education, culture, and healthcare.
At the conclusion, the parties agreed to continue efforts to strengthen mutually beneficial relations between Uzbekistan and Germany.
