Deputy Energy Minister of Russia Kyrill Molodtsov said that Uzbekistan and Russia are planning to discuss issues of supplying oil to Uzbekistan in March 2017.
He said that the sides will search for solution, which will allow to increase trade turnover between two nations.
It is economically inefficient to supply oil from Russia to Uzbekistan via railway and the countries are discussing more efficient variants.
Russia can supply oil via pipeline Omsk-Pavlodar-Shymkent-Zafarabad. It is necessary to assess capabilities of the pipeline.
It is necessary to work out the issue with Kazakhstan, which is underway now, he said.
