Uzbekistan, Russia discuss implementation of joint projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 March, the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, headed by minister Maxim Oreshkin.
During the meeting, the Economic Cooperation Program between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Russian Federation for 2019-2024 was discussed. Currently, total 54 projects has been actively carried on such sectors as agriculture, fuel and energy, as well as engineering.
Furthermore, within the framework of agricultural development projects and increasing its export potential, joint optimization of the supply chains of agricultural products is planned through the creation of a network of wholesale distribution centers.
The importance of the further development of bilateral relations between states once more highlighted.
In connection with the implementation of systemic tax reforms aimed at creating more favorable conditions for both business and citizens of our republic through cooperation and collaboration between Uzbekistan and Russia in terms of technical and advisory assistance was emphasized.
Another opportunity to develop contacts is to provide expert assistance from Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography’s specialists to evaluate approaches in organizing work with maintaining and updating the cadastre of land plots and real estate objects, discussing the methodology and results of modeling the value of objects, the need for their refinement and optimization.
In addition, Russian authorities’ experience in the privatization of land and real estate objects as well as measures to protect the rights of owners, including when buying land for state and public needs is remarkable.
At the end, the parties once again noted the dynamic development of mutually beneficial trade, economic and investment cooperation, carried out within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Program between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Russian Federation for 2019-2024.
