Uzbekistan revokes licenses of 23 pharmacies in 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical safety center “Uzpharmcontrol” has revoked the licenses of 23 pharmacies since the beginning of the year, the agency’s press service said.
According to the Department for Licensing and Inspection of Pharmaceutical Activities, serious violations were identified in the operations of these pharmacies. These included the storage and sale of medicines and medical products without required certification, state registration, or proper labeling, as well as the distribution of substandard and counterfeit drugs.
Among the pharmacies whose licenses were revoked are Geran Farm in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Inomjon Xoji Farm and As-Mo in Andijan region, and Buxoro Basfarm in Bukhara region.
The highest number of violations was recorded in Samarkand region, where licenses were revoked for Farmatsevt Alimjanovna, Afrosiyob Gavhari, Xayrulloyeva Sabina Farm, XTXS-Malxam, Azizbek Nurbek Farm, Lekoteka Pharm, Baxtiyor Xususiy Dorixona, Shaxnoza-L, and Sam Ozoda Parizoda Farm.
In Surkhandarya region, Yuksak Farm lost its license, while in Khorezm region actions were taken against Gulnura Gulnihol Pharm and Urganch Umarbek Farm. In Tashkent, sanctions affected Marva-Pharm, Adolat Yulduz Farm, Gipofiz Farm, The Great Farm, Pharma Brend, Maxsudbek Biznes, and Mexr-Shifo Med Farm.
The licensing authority also added pharmacy addresses and the details of staff responsible for violations to a special registry.
Uzpharmcontrol emphasized that inspections of pharmacy establishments are ongoing and that information on identified violations will continue to be published publicly.
