Uzbekistan Retains 53rd Place in Global Happiness Ranking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has retained its 53rd position out of 147 countries in the 2026 World Happiness Report, receiving a happiness score of 6.283 out of 10. The country’s ranking remains unchanged from the previous year.
The report evaluates nations based on key socio-economic indicators, including GDP per capita, social support, life expectancy, civil liberties, employment security, perceptions of corruption, and survey-based assessments of well-being.
Within Central Asia, Kazakhstan achieved the highest rank at 33rd place, followed by Kyrgyzstan at 66th and Tajikistan at 88th. Turkmenistan was not included in the study.
Finland continues to hold the top position globally, while Afghanistan remains at the bottom of the ranking. The results highlight Uzbekistan’s stable social and economic environment and the sustained quality of life for its citizens.
