Uzbekistan Reports Extradition of Three Wanted Citizens from the UAE

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan announced the extradition of three Uzbek citizens from the United Arab Emirates who were wanted internationally.

According to the ministry, the men were sought on charges of committing economic and property-related crimes within Uzbekistan.

The arrests were carried out with the coordination of the national Interpol bureaus in Tashkent and Abu Dhabi, the ministry added.

The statement noted that the number of extraditions is increasing amid the expansion of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of existing international agreements in combating transnational crime.
