Uzbekistan Registers 177,000 Marriages in Nine Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, 177,000 marriages were registered in Uzbekistan from January to September 2025.

Of these, 91,200 took place in urban areas and 85,800 in rural regions.

The number of marriages in the country continues to gradually decline. For comparison, during the same period in previous years, there were 206,800 marriages in 2021, 197,000 in 2022, 184,500 in 2023, and 179,400 in 2024.
