Uzbekistan reforms system of entrance examinations to universities

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan and the State Testing Center are reforming the system of entrance test exams to the country’s universities, Acting Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov said.

He said that on 3 August Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev criticized the current system of entrance exams.

Shermatov noted that Uzbek leader put the task to reform the entrance system and prospective students should receive their exam results immediately after the exams.
