Uzbekistan reduces the share of gold in exports to 27.8% in 2024

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2024, Uzbekistan reduced the volume of non-monetary gold exports compared to 2023, according to data from the Statistics Agency.
The total value of gold exports amounted to US$7.48 billion, which is 8.3% less than in 2023, when it reached US$8.15 billion.
It is worth noting that in 2023, gold exports saw a significant increase, totaling US$8.15 billion, which was 98.4% higher than in 2022, when it stood at US$4.11 billion.
The share of gold in Uzbekistan’s export structure in 2024 was 27.8%, down from 32.8% in 2023.
