Uzbekistan Records Over 3,200 False Ambulance Calls in 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, Uzbekistan’s emergency medical services received 3,244 false calls, according to the press service of the Ministry of Health.

The ministry noted that compared to 2024, the number of false calls increased by 531, indicating a continuing problem with the misuse of emergency medical services.

The highest number of false calls was recorded in Kashkadarya region, with 784 cases.

Surkhandarya region ranked second, with 499 false calls.

A significant number of unjustified calls were also reported from Ferghana region — 394 cases, and Samarkand region, with 337 false calls.

The lowest number of false calls was registered in Syrdarya region, with only 48 cases, the Ministry of Health reported.
